Centennial Staff Profiles
|Title||4-H Youth Development Program Representative|
|Location||UCCE Sonoma County|
|Time with ANR||13 years|
No such thing as a typical day! I might be conducting an orientation, working with volunteers, overseeing an event, visiting camp or planning a celebration!
|Most Memorable Moment||
There are so many! Most recently, it was attending the 4-H Healthy Living Summit in Washington, DC. Every youth in attendance was motivated, enthusiastic, and held such a positive vision for the future.
|What I love Most About Working for ANR||
Working with volunteers and youth who want to make a difference in our community and in the world.
I spent 12 years teaching a variety of grades and then started my own preschool, Mud Puddles. Eight years later I decided it was time for a career change. I worked in the area of tobacco prevention for a few years, and then was delighted to find my current position. It combines so many of my interests, such as program planning, healthy living, teaching, community service and creating leadership opportunities for youth and adults.
