Centennial Staff Profiles
UCCE Yolo County
Farm Advisor and County Director
Time with ANR
A typical day at work sees me taking farm calls, collecting field research data, putting on workshops, giving presentations, writing blogs on crop production issues, and writing publications related to agriculture.
Most Memorable Moment
My most memorable moment with Cooperative Extension was when I my husband-to-be at a corn production meeting in Solano County!
What I love Most About Working for ANR
I love working with growers in my community on sustainable crop production issues.
I've always had an interest in agriculture and working on crop production issues. After graduating from college, I started off as a Field Assistant for UCCE in Sonoma and San Joaquin counties, then managed a research lab out of Berkeley that focused on integrated pest management issues in orchard and vineyards, and was hired as a Yolo County UCCE Advisor in 1992.
