Centennial Staff Profiles
|Title||Program Representative I|
|Location||UCCE Butte County / Cluster|
|Time with ANR||6 years, 7 months|
I am a Program Representative/Nutrition Educator for UC ANR. I prepare and deliver approved UC curricula for nutrition education to low-income children and adults in community agencies and schools. I collect and compile participant information and evaluation data for the program reporting workbook.
|Most Memorable Moment||
My most memorable moments working for UC ANR would be when parents graduate from our program and they feel good about the changes they are able to make in obtaining a healthier lifestyle and taking control of their finances. The lessons I deliver give them the information they need to bring stability to their lives.
|What I love Most About Working for ANR||
I love how the work that I do helps families obtain a healthier future, both nutritionally and financially. It is very rewarding to see that participants are much happier when they feel good about themselves. I am always happy to hear the participants share about how our program has helped them make lifestyle changes to improve their health and the health of their families.
I have worked in the medical field as a Medical Assistant for 14 years. I’ve always enjoyed working with people. When I heard about this job, I was really excited to be part of it. Past patients from the hospital often tell me how great it is that they see me now bringing preventive health information to them. I am thankful to be part of UC ANR.
